description
Dryhill vineyard is situated on free-draining limestone terraces nestled in a fold on the Cotswold escarpment. This land formed part of an ancient “Villa Rustica”, an agricultural Roman Villa dating back to the time of The Emperor Valentinian I.
Our Cheltenham vineyard is tended by hand which allows minimum intervention to produce only the finest fruit. Our deep rooted vines penetrate the limestone brash and are fed by many underground natural springs.
Traditional method fermentation plus selected use of mature oak barrels and extended lees aging in bottles as used by the Grands Marques allows us to create a delicious creamy texture and encourages each bottle to develop softness, subtlety and finesse.
Blanc de Noirs: 50% Pinot Noir - 50% Pinot Meunier. Disgorged 05/2023.
